I received my flight training and a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics at the University of North Dakota. I flight instructed at UND for about 2 1/2 years before getting married and moving to Virginia. My flight instructing continued in the Shenandoah Valley for another 6 months before moving to Salt Lake City. Once in Salt Lake City I instructed for OK3 Air until they closed down their Salt Lake Base. From there I started flying Cargo in a Chieftain for Salmon Air, while continuing to do contract flight instruction and flying SIC in various Citation 500 series aircraft. I was then hired on as an Assistant Chief Flight Instructor with Westminster. Was then promoted to Chief Flight Instructor and to the Director of Flight Education. I also completed my Master of Education degree from Westminster College. Currently, I still have the privilege of flying SIC in various 500 series Citations with a 91 company in Salt Lake City. A few accomplishments include a 2x Master CFI, 2008 flight instructor of the year for the SLC FSDO area, FAASTeam Representative, Wings program participant and recently a WAI achievement scholarship winner. I also serve as a the Women in Aviation advisor for the Great Salt Lake Chapter and I am a member of the 99's and AOPA. Outside of flying I enjoy being in the mountains doing various outdoor activities like biking, climbing, and skiing.
