Description:

Program Description: The Program offers awards for study abroad by U.S. citizens who are receiving federal Pell Grant finding at a two- or four-year college or university. Selected by competition, recipients are awarded up to $5,000 to defray the costs associated with study abroad for a semester. Application Procedures: Please visit website for application materials.

Enrollment Requirement:

Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible, the student must meet all of the following criteria: " U.S. citizen. " An undergraduate student in good standing at an institution of higher learning in the U.S. " Applicant is applying to or has been accepted for a program of study abroad eligible for credit at the students home institution. " The applicant cannot travel in a country that is currently under a Travel Warning issued by the U.S. Department or in Cuba. " The applicant is applying to a country-based study program. " The applicant has a complete application and has ensured that their current official transcript has been received by the IIE. Application Deadline: For study beginning in the following fall during the coming academic year, the application deadline is April 15th. For study beginning the following spring, the application deadline is October 15th.
