Description:

Program Description: The Program is intended to increase the presence of individuals from traditionally underrepresented groups, specifically African Americans, Mexican Americans, Native Americans, and Puerto Ricans. During the eight week program, undergraduate students will conduct graduate level research under the supervision of a Columbia University faculty mentor. The fellowship provides the cost of room and board, round-trip transportation up to $500, and a stipend of $2,500. Application Procedures: Please visit website for application materials.

Eligibility Requirements: It is open to students in the humanities, natural sciences, or social sciences. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are African American, Mexican American, Native American, or Puerto Rican with a GPA of 3.0 or better.
