| Description: |
Scholarships are awarded to students planning to attend graduate school in the arts, humanities, and social sciences. A Beinecke scholar receives a total of $32,000 (an initial $2,000 is awarded to the student just prior to entering graduate school. An additional $30,000 is awarded during graduate school). |
Enrollment Requirement: |
ﾧ Have demonstrated superior standards of intellectual ability, scholastic achievement, and personal promise during his or her undergraduate career. ﾧ Be in the junior year of a college at a participating institution (see web site). ﾧ Be a U.S. citizen or a U.S. national from American Samoa or the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands ﾧ Have a documented history of receiving need-based financial aid during college. |
