Description:

Program Description: The ARIT offers ten fellowships each year to fund participation in a summer program of intensive advanced Turkish language study in Istanbul, Turkey. This intensive program offers the equivalent of a full academic year of study in Turkey at the college level. The fellowship covers round-trip airfare to Istanbul, application and tuition fees, and a maintenance stipend. Application Procedures: The application includes an official academic transcript, a brief statement of purpose, and three letters or recommendation. Please visit website for application materials.

Enrollment Requirement:

Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible, applicants must be U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident currently enrolled in an undergraduate program. Applicants must maintain a B average and be able to perform at the high-intermediate level on a Turkish language proficiency exam.
