Description:

The conference and event services department seeks a student employee to assist in the event staff in the material set-up, support and technical staffing of campus events.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist the Conference and Event Services department in the set-up, tear-down and technical support of campus events. Candidate should possess a working knowledge of commonly used Windows and Apple computers as well as basic understanding of video projection equipment and components. Candidate will work with audio equipment such as microphones, speakers and mixers.

 

Experience and Skills

  • Correctly and safely lift 50 lbs.

  • Work proactively, often with minimal or no supervision.

  • Present a professional appearance

  • Assist various individuals or groups in the support of events

  • Some experience with theatrical lighting boards is preferred.

Must be able to work evenings and weekends Position is to be filled immediately. Both Summer and Fall semester opportunities are also available.
