Salt Lake City is well known destination for outdoor recreation enthusiasts. There are ten major ski resorts within an hour's drive, and 16 national parks, monuments and recreational areas within a day's drive. But there's much more to Salt Lake than great skiing and snowboarding! The city also boasts a lively arts, music, and cultural community including many excellent restaurants, coffeehouses, brewpubs, bars, and nightclubs. Big name concerts, cultural and ethnic festivals, and a host of colorful events offer entertainment throughout the year.
