Freshman Scholarships

All freshman scholarships are renewable up to eight semesters or four years provided students attend full-time and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA. Westminster will "hold" scholarships for a student's leave of absence, such as religious service and study abroad programs. Other than an Admission Application, there are no other forms to fill out or application deadlines. Easy!

Westminster College also participates in other national and state scholarship programs such as National Merit, National Achievement, ROTC, and the Utah Sterling Scholar Program. Please check out more information on our Freshman Scholarship page.

Transfer Scholarships

Transfer students are also automatically considered for Westminster merit-based scholarships and grants upon admission. Scholarship consideration will be based on transfer school GPA. All scholarships are renewable up to eight semesters or four years through completion of undergraduate degree, provided students attend full-time and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA. Outside Scholarships

"Outside" scholarships are monies given to students from sources other than Westminster College. There are many organizations and foundations that give scholarships based on academic major, religious background, ethnic background, etc. We suggest students talk with high school counselors, civic clubs, local businesses, and also check the Internet for information on these outside scholarship programs or check our online scholarship board.

Additional Undergraduate & Graduate Outside Scholarships, Fellowships and Research Opportunities

Many scholarship and fellowship opportunities exist for students with outstanding academic records. These awards are not administered through the Westminster College Financial Aid office; rather, they are national and international scholarships that are suitable for students interested in applying for the rigorous competitions that tie in to their undergraduate, graduate, or professional interests. Continuing Student Scholarships

Students who have established a Westminster College GPA are eligible to apply for Westminster College Continuing Student Scholarships. Application deadline is in February of each year.
