Yuki MacQueen joined the violin section of the Utah Symphony in 2000. Previously, she was a member of the Nashville and San Antonio Symphonies, and Associate Concertmaster of the Knoxville Symphony; and she has been a regular participant in the Grand Teton Music Festival since 1994. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Curtis Institute of Music and a Master of Music degree from Juilliard. Since moving to Salt Lake, she has performed with such organizations as the Nova Chamber Music Series, Intermezzo Chamber Music Series, and Contemporary Music Consortium. She and pianist Karlyn Bond have collaborated in numerous Westminster faculty recitals. In her spare time, Yuki devours books.
