Bryan Fletcher, 2014 Olympian and Westminster sophomore, launched a new charity called ccThrive. The organization focuses on helping kids thrive after childhood cancer. The charity has three main objectives: to raise awareness, provide guidance, and limit financial restrictions children may face post treatment. For more information, visit www.ccthrive.org.

Westminster Aviation Chair, John Schaefer, and aviation students Kristi Weeks, Dennis Padilla, Peter Geller, Nathan Arango, and Matthew Hardesty attended the 2015 Red Bull Air Races in Las Vegas, Nevada in October 2015. At the event, they met pilots and received a "behind the ropes" tour of the airplanes.

Professional Achievement

Westminster College student, Zeppelin Zeerip, competed in the state business plan competition and ranked among the Top 8 finalists. Eleven universities participated, with over 200 teams competing for the top spots. Zeerip received a cash prize of $2,000 that he can apply to starting his business, Urban Yield . Zeppelin also placed 2nd in the Westminster business plan competition where he won $1,500.
